What is eConsent?

eConsent means you're giving us permission to send you documents electronically — by email, text message, or in the app — instead of on paper. This includes receipts, agreements, notices, and privacy policies related to your pawn, layaway, or other transactions with us.

What documents does "Disclosures" include?

"Disclosures" refers to receipts, agreements, notices, and privacy-related documents tied to your transactions (for example, pawn tickets, layaway agreements, and payment confirmations). eConsent lets us deliver these to you electronically instead of mailing paper copies.

Does eConsent let EZCORP sell or share my personal information?

No. eConsent is only about how you receive documents (electronically vs. paper). It does not authorize sharing your personal information with third parties. Why do I need to accept eConsent just to use rewards, points, or the prize wheel?

Accepting eConsent is what makes the EZ+ app's digital features work overall — not just payments. Since the app delivers things like agreements and notices electronically, eConsent is required to use the app's online services, including rewards, EZ Points, and other in-app features.

Do I have to accept eConsent to use all EZ+ app features, or only for payments?

Yes — eConsent applies to the app as a whole. It's the permission that allows the EZ+ app to function as a digital service. Without it, you won't be able to use the app to view or manage your account online (including payments or EZ Points), and you'd need to handle these in-store instead.

Why do you need my email and phone number?

We use your email and phone number to send you the electronic disclosures described above (receipts, agreements, notices, etc.) and to keep your account contact information current. You can update this information at any time.

Why are you asking me to agree to this at all?

Federal law requires us to get your OK before sending legal documents electronically instead of on paper. The eConsent screen is simply us asking for that permission.

Can I get a paper copy of my documents instead?

Yes. You can request a paper copy of any document like pawn tickets, layaway agreements, and payment confirmations by contacting your local store assistance.

Can I change my mind later?

Yes. You can withdraw your eConsent at any time — just let us know. Keep in mind that because this consent is what makes the EZ+ app's digital services work, withdrawing it means you will no longer be able to use the EZ+ app.

What are the technical requirements to use eConsent?

You'll need a device with internet access, a valid email address, and a browser capable of viewing and saving documents (e.g., PDFs). Full technical requirements are listed in the eConsent disclosure itself.
